wear-ever

i removed the base and all looks clean and tight.....however, percolator will not cycle off and red light continues to blink slowly......i note there are 'points' in the base. i would really appreciate advice as to how to adjust and hopefully get the pot to cycle off.  many thanks.

It's beautiful. I actually saw one of these in person last weekend at an antique shop. They were asking $700.00 for it.
